Youth services are provided by the
Workforce Investment Board by contracting with area youth service providers.
Youth service providers, in conjunction with the area WorkForce West Virginia
Career Centers, partner with other youth organizations to identify at eligible
at-risk youth to receive Workforce Investment Board funded youth services.
Youth Council works in an advisory capacity to the Workforce
Investment Board. The council consists of dedicated community members from
business, education, and youth support agencies focused on providing at-risk
youth the opportunities to become productive and contributing citizens in the
Region VII area. |
